Williams Club Newsletter

Jan 1, 2010

On Friday, December 11, The Club hosted four of the top players in today’s American art world. Member and internationally recognized artist Barbara Ernst Prey ’79 moderated the discussion between Laura Hoptman ’83, Kraus Family Senior Curator at The New Museum, Nancy Spector ’84, Chief Curator of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and Darsie Alexander ’91, Chief Curator of the Walker Art Center. The room was packed to the brim as participants discussed their different roles at their respective museums, their responsibility as women in the art world, and how a Williams education helped them succeed.
